Finanzy May 2025 Updates – 1,000 Installs, Smarter Filters, and a Map for Your Money

We’ve just wrapped up another exciting month at Finanzy — and this one came with a big milestone. 🎉
Finanzy officially surpassed 1,000 installs on the Play Store!
That’s 1,000 people taking control of their personal finances, and we couldn’t be more grateful. Thank you for every download, every feedback message, and every moment you’ve spent inside the app. 💚

Of course, we didn’t stop there. Throughout May, we shipped several updates that make Finanzy even smarter, faster, and more insightful. Here’s what’s new:

💡 Powerful new filters (that actually make sense)

We know that as your transaction history grows, being able to narrow things down becomes crucial. In May, we introduced a completely redesigned filter system for both the Transactions and Transfers sections.

You can now filter by:

  • Account
  • Category
  • Transfer type
  • Custom date ranges

The new interface is simpler, cleaner, and designed to help you find exactly what you’re looking for — fast.

💳 A better way to view credit card spending

If you’re using Finanzy to track credit card accounts, you’ll love this:
We added a dedicated Credit Card Statement screen that lets you view statement details for any credit card account in your list.

Now you can get a more accurate breakdown of what you owe, what you’ve paid, and how your credit usage changes over time.

📍 Your money, on the map

This one’s for those who like to see the bigger picture — literally. Starting with version 3.1.0, you can now save your location whenever you log an income or expense transaction.

Even better: there’s a brand new map view inside the Transactions screen that shows where your financial activity is happening.
Want to know how much you spent in a particular area, or where most of your cash goes? Now you can explore it visually.

To enable this feature, go to Settings, turn on location tracking, and grant the necessary permissions.

⚙️ And yes — we fixed bugs too

Throughout May, we released multiple performance updates to make Finanzy run faster and smoother. We also adjusted app support to align with modern Android versions — Finanzy now supports Android 8 and above.

That’s it for May!
We’re incredibly proud of how far Finanzy has come — and even more excited about what’s coming next. As always, your feedback helps shape our roadmap, so keep it coming. 💬

See you in June!
