Reminders

In the Finanzy app, reminders can be enabled when adding future-dated transactions or transfers. Additionally, reminders can also be set for recurring transactions or transfers. The reminder feature ensures you receive a notification a day before the transaction or transfer date to keep you on track.

How Reminders Work

• Enabling Reminders
  • When adding a future-dated transaction or transfer, the Reminder option becomes available.
  • Similarly, if you enable Recurring, the Reminder option will also appear for the recurring payment.
• Notification System
  • If a transaction or transfer has a reminder enabled, a notification will be sent to your device one day before the payment date.
  • Note: Ensure reminders are activated in the app’s Settings, and the app is allowed to send notifications in your device’s notification settings.

Viewing and Managing Reminders

• Accessing the Reminders Page
  • Navigate to the Reminders page by selecting Reminders from the main menu.
  • This page lists all future-dated payments (transactions or transfers) with reminders enabled.
• Disabling a Reminder
  • To turn off the reminder for a payment:
    • Swipe the payment to the left to open the Edit Screen.
    • Disable the Reminder field and save the changes.
• Expired Reminders
  • If the payment date has passed, the reminder is automatically deactivated.
  • Expired reminders are no longer displayed on the Reminders page.

The Reminders Screen provides a clear overview of all upcoming payments with reminders, helping you stay organized and never miss an important transaction or transfer.
